#28 - Cannon Beach

Cannon Beach, Oregon, June 2021.

The beautiful haystack of Cannon Beach, Oregon. I've been there many, many times, and taken many, many photographs. None as good, nor as painful, as this one.

Good because the conditions were perfect for this long exposure. Cloudy day, almost no people around, and a tide that was starting to go away.

Painful because even though the tide was receding, a rogue wave surprised me while taking this long exposure. I had to grab all my gear to avoid it getting wet, but unfortunately I dropped one of my cameras in the water. Not a bad place to die, I guess.
