#32 - Winter Tree
Indiana, February 2021.
I love driving around Indiana in the winter. Everything is so beautiful! The fields that are full of corn during the summer months leave room for vast and empty rolling hills that get blanketed in snow for a few weeks every winter.
The challenging part of making images there, though, is... well, getting to the scene. It's not hard to see something to photograph during a drive on the countryside, but finding a place to park the car is almost impossible as the narrow roads become even more dangerous due to the snow and ice. Walking or biking there can even riskier. But every once in a while, you do run into something beautiful, and get the chance to stop and make an image.
This was the case on one of my many drives around the countryside in northern Indiana. I saw the fence and the tree, and I knew I had to stop somewhere. Luckily for me, I found a spot and was able to get the camera out.
