The first half of this roll was from a failed trip to the desert back in September. I love Cottonwood Canyon and I was going to spend the night there, but I wasn't feeling it, it was cold and I was alone (no service there either, and I forgot to bring even a book)... so I decided to call it short and head back home that same day. I stopped by Rowena Crest and took a couple long exposures though (#5 and #6).

The other 6 shots were taken at White River Sno-Park (video of that trip here). They were simple, straightforward compositions.

Location: Lolo Pass Road (Mt Hood National Forest), OR

This was a short trip to Lolo Pass Road, in the Mt Hood National Forest. I got there just in time for sunrise, and I tried to capture the light hitting the mountain. Tried a long exposure as well. I am not very pleased with these photos...

I shot Tri-X for the first time in a while too. I wanted to give it another chance, and considering the low light of the situation, I pushed it to 1600 to see how grainy it'd get. I'd say it looks pretty good!

The last three shots are from the actual road, full of power lines.

This trip was all about one single shot, the long exposure of the full moon rising above Mt St Helens. I don't have much else to say about this roll, since there's a video and a blog post about it already :)
