Consistency pays off big time, eventually
I've been a big advocate of waking up and getting out early for a while now.
I love the morning hours: everything is quiet and still, people are still getting ready for the day and it's (usually) just you and your camera.
It's always, always worth it. No matter how hard it is to get out of bed and through that door.
Some days, though, the payoff is huge. And you want to be out there, working, when that happens.
After month and a half of daily outings early in the morning here in Indiana, I woke up to an intense and heavy fog. I got dressed, grabbed my camera (always ready to go) and left in no time. I knew where to go, where the images were, because after all this time I know this place.
What followed was an hour of pure joy doing what I love the most.
