When I knew I had a few days to go anywhere I wanted in the PNW, this place was the first to come to my mind.

Nice things have happened recently: one of my photos was selected in the Editorial Team Shortlist of the Unsplash Awards 2017, and two more are now music album covers.

As you know if you follow this blog, I'll be on the road for the next few weeks and not having a permanent address could be a challenge for a film photographer like me: how am I going to get film? So I just went ahead and got a lot of film, $500 worth of it.

Last Friday I drove to the coast to spend the afternoon / evening visiting and photographing some spots (Lincoln City, Neskowin, Pacific City and Cape Lookout).

Second day in Central Oregon. This time I photograph Lava Lake, Suttle Lake and Detroit Lake and dam. From snowy mountains, to the desert, and to the forests of the Cascade Mountains.

This is the first in a new series about our upcoming road trip across the United States. We are going to be on the road for around **3 months** and I'll be sharing our experiences here. First stop: Cascade Lakes in Central Oregon.

A bit more than 4 years ago I was saying goodbye to the city where I lived for more than 13 years.

Today, I quit my job. And on November 5th, I’ll be saying goodbye to Portland, and the Pacific Northwest. 

Part II of my trip to the Core Enchantments, in Central Washington. Day 2 too, where I leave my camp at Snow Lakes behind and climb to the Core.

The Enchantments is one of the most beautiful places in the Pacific Northwest, and I was lucky enough to get a permit to spend 2 nights there. This is part 1 of that adventure.
