I am on the road again! And what better way to start the trip than with an unexpected snowstorm at the beginning of September. I welcomed and embraced the snow, and tried to make good images at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains.

The cover of "Becoming an American"
This is the cover of Becoming an American, my upcoming book.
Traveling as a way to discover yourself and your art
For the last 2+ years, we've been living nomadically across several countries. Before that, I'd moved from Spain to the US where I lived for 5+ years. All these travels have changed me and my art in very profound ways -and it could change you, as well. Let's see how.

First video from New York. I had a great time in the big apple, and made some images I really like. Check them out!
Photographing 4 big cities
We left Indiana a few days ago. On our way back to Europe we'll be stopping by 4 big cities: Chicago, Washington DC, New York City and Amsterdam.
Actually, we've almost completed half of this tour: I'm writing this from Arlington, VA, as we are getting ready to leave for the big apple later today.
The image above pictures the Washington Monument. I made it yesterday, and I think I've got a few more with some potential. Photographing big cities is not my natural habitat but I'm having a lot of fun so far.
I still have a few more days left on this trip, and until then everything will be a bit slower around here. See you out there!
Images from the Elkhart County 4-H Fair
The Elkhart County Fair was one of my first experiences in America when I moved here back in 2013. It was definitely different from what I was used to, to say the least.
6 years later, I went back. It was a fun day of fair food, attractions and even a Demolition Derby.
Spring 2019 road trip
These are some of the images I made during my recent road trip across the Southwest, the West Coast and a bit of the Midwest.
Read MoreHello, old friend
I'm back in Indiana, and that means I finally got reunited with my old friend.
This Bronica SQ-Ai is the original one, the one I used on my several trips across America. It's made photographs in many states, from Washington to South Dakota.
Unfortunately, I don't have a WLF to go with it, and I only have 2 lenses: the 80mm f/2.8 and the huge 250mm f/5.6. I'm also lacking a cable release and my beloved orange filter.
I can't wait to take it out there, though.
Late Spring US Road Trip
It's been almost a year since I left the US, so I'm really excited to announce my upcoming late spring trip to America. These are the locations I will be visiting and the dates (might change slightly):
Apr 11-12 Los Angeles, CA
Apr 13-19 Phoenix, AZ
Apr 22-26 Santa Fe, NM
Apr 29-May 3 Salt Lake City, UT
May 6-25 Portland, OR
Jun 4-7 Nevada City, CA
In addition to these, I will also be visiting and spending some time in San Francisco, Chicago, Indiana, and a first for me, New York. No firm dates for these just yet.
I'm very excited about this trip, the photos I will make, and hopefully the people I will meet. If you happen to be at any of these locations during these dates and you want to shoot with me, let me know!
American Road Trip Journal #27: Grand Canyon
The adventure continues! This time, I visit the Grand Canyon National Park for the first time.
Even after seeing the Redwoods and being at places like Death Valley and the Canadian Rockies, this place made me feel really, really small. An impressive sight, worth a visit.

New episode of the American Road Trip Journal.
Still in Sedona, Arizona, Luna and I go on a hike to Baby Bell Rock. It is an easy, short and beautiful hike to great views of the amazing rocks and colors of the area.
I try to shoot some photos with my Bronica SQ-Ai and Ilford HP5+, but once again, I struggle to get good compositions in black and white. Color is just too hard to get out of your mind when shooting here.
